A Good Day

"I feel A-MAZ-ING" my mom exclaimed Friday afternoon when I called to see what havoc chemo was inevitable wrecking. My jaw dropped, and almost instantaneously morphed into a large grin.

I have not felt such a large smile cross my face since the Taylor Swift Concert in July. The joy that my mom was experiencing from her backyard, across the Columbia River, and through the phone was palpable.

"What?! Tell me more!" we continued our conversation.

The prayers are working!

We celebrated her cute curled hair cut, the good nights sleep she had, and reminisced over the loopy Jami Bob and I had the pleasure of experiencing in the hospital.

From my head to my toes I have a deep sense of gratitude for this day. It was good. When mom has a good day, we all have a good day.

On the first Blue Friday of the year (Go Hawks!) we chose together to not let anything bring us down. With more birthday's to celebrate this weekend, and an Aunt Missy to see the future was only looking bright.

Let us not take for granted the ability to move our body, make our selves feel pretty, enjoy good company, and praise God for the wins & good day's.

I hope each one of you experiences this type of joy today.

Happy Saturday!
